Now that the regular NFL season has ended, speculations are being made over which teams seem most likely to make it to the Super Bowl Championship. The Denver Broncos of the AFC and the Seattle Seahawks of the NFC holding No. 1 seed positions have been deemed the favorites, but the seed advantage is not necessarily the number one deciding factor. The Baltimore Ravens are a prime example, winning Super Bowl XLVII as a No. 4 seed. For the first round of playoffs in the AFC this year, the No. 3 seed Bengals will take on the No. 6 seed Chargers, and the No. 4 seed Colts will take on the No. 5 seed Chiefs. The New England Patriots hold the No. 2 seed position. In the NFC, the No. 3 seed Eagles will take on the No. 6 seed Saints, and the No. 4 seed Packers will take on the No. 5 seed 49ers. The Carolina Panthers hold the No. 2 seed position.
